DO YOU GIVE FREE LESSONS?
Sadly, no. Just like you, I have to pay the bills. That being said, please note that every billed hour comes with a (free) preparation hour on mi side.
WHAT ABOUT CURRENCY, PAYMENT METHODS AND TAXES?
All prices are in CAD (Canadian dollars). Payments can be made via Interac or PayPal. Good news: you don't have to pay taxes. I will send you the information regarding the payments after your subscription.
DO I NEED TO BUY BOOKS OR MATERIAL?
No! I share everything with you online via the (free) AirTable platform.
WHAT DO I NEED TO FOLLOW YOUR CLASSES?
All you need is a computer with a functioning webcam and a good Internet connection.
WHAT IS THE PLATFORM USED FOR THE ONLINE CLASSES?
I use TEAMS. You'll receive a link to download it if you don't already have it installed on your computer. It won't cost you anything.
IN WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU GIVE YOUR CLASSES?
I mostly give my classes in a bilingual format (English or Spanish explanations followed by their French translation) for beginner levels. I add more French as we go.
WILL THERE BE EXAMS?
No. I will check your progress through the exercises that we will correct together.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS A CLASS?
For group classes, your subscription is like a gym membership (except we exercise your brain instead of your body). So there is no refund for the classes you miss. However, you can keep track of the group's progression on AirTable and make up for what you have missed by reading the material and doing the exercises on your own. I can then answer your questions in the following class.
For private classes, you can reschedule a class with a 24-hour heads-up. Otherwise, you will have to pay for the missed session in full.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU MISS A CLASS?
Sadly, I'm not Wonder Woman (I wish). So in the event that I would be sick, we would find an ulterior date to make up for the missed class.
